Gilles Marini explains how he got prepared for his famous shower scene: I wanted to try to do something in the modeling industry. I knew that for me to work as a model, I needed pictures by a top photographer and Fred is on top of that list. We did the shower shoot a couple of times. I needed to be ready and comfortable before playing the shower scene in Sex and the City. We talked about it with Fred and this shower picture was kind of a rehearsal before shooting the film. When I got to the set of Sex and the City, I had to get naked and play my scene in front of dozens of people. Thanks to Fred, I knew what to do; so in the movie it looks a bit like what Fred created.
